My name is Lucy. I am a Career Development Advisor for Affordablecollegeprep.com. Just like many of you, I have struggled in my career path one way or another that ultimately has lead me down the path of success. This blog is intended to give you tips and personal stories of my journey to ultimately guide you in your personal career paths. This is for all the current college students who may be in the path of looking for a job after graduation, for single moms who want to get a jump start in their career, for young adults making a transition to a different industry or just anyone who wants to continue to build on their careers.

Finding a job out of college or even transitioning into a new career path is difficult. It is a long difficult journey that may be frustrating and sometimes lonely. You may not realize there are others just like you experiencing the same frustrations just like you. I have been there.

My background consists of 7 years of broad based experience from hospitality to higher education which includes: Five years of professional experience in Guest Relations, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources and Event Planning and two years of growing experience in Higher Education in Advancement & Alumni Event Management to Graduate Student Affairs.
